Apparently, warnings from pediatricians that Michelle Obama’s “healthy” school lunches weren’t actually all that healthy were correct. Stacy Greathouse is a student at Millburn Elementary School in Salem, Ohio, where her parents say she has been “fat” her entire life.
Ever since her very early years, Greathouse has been eating school lunches designed by former First “Lady” Michelle Obama. Despite diets her parents put her on, the little girl has always been overweight. In February, President Trump ended the practice, and something miraculous happened.
“I can’t explain it, but she has just been shedding the pounds,” says Carolyn Greathouse. “The only change in her diet and routine has been that she no longer eats Michelle Obama’s ‘healthy’ lunches.”

For years, “conspiracy theorists” have been dismissed when they speculated that Michelle Obama’s “healthy lunch” plan was meant not to help our children but to hurt certain ones.
The World Health Organization said in a 2014 report that “African-American school children, on average, have been losing weight in the United States” while “Caucasian children have gained on average 20 pounds since the First Lady’s school lunch initiative began.”
At the time it was speculated that this was because parents who didn’t like the initiative were packing their kids’ lunches, but Greathouse says she has not been doing that.
“She’s eaten breakfast and lunch at school every day of her life that she’s been there,” Mrs. Greathouse says. “Our doctor says he ain’t seen nothing like it.”
Stacy has lost almost 90 lbs. since she has been off the “Obama diet” as her mom calls it. While she feels healthy, her mom still wants to know why the weight loss occurred so quickly in a 5-month period.
“We’re going to see specialists on Friday,” she told the Dart, her local biweekly newspaper. “We need to get to the bottom of this.”
